Installation of prefinished or unfinished oak flooring and reclaimed wood materials. Backed up by a warranty as solid as the floors themselves. A reputation for providing the most competitive budgets for high-quality flooring in the area., Since 1987, Old Dominion Floor Company has been providing the finest in hardwood flooring, installations and finishing to Richmond builders and homeowners.

We have made high-quality floors our speciality, and this reputation has earned us recognition as the first choice in hardwoods, engineered hardwoods, and laminate flooring for many of the area's leading home builders., Old Dominion Floor was established in 1987 by John Jones III: We started as a Hardwood floor Installation Company. It wasn't long after that we expanded and grew our Sand and Finish division of the business to meet the demand. After a few years Old Dominion became the Hardwood Floor Specialist in the Richmond Metro area. For almost 10 years we worked with just solid wood (there was no engineered or laminate at the time).

We then merged with Builder Floor in August 2006, which opened us to more types of floor covering such as carpet, tile, and vinyl. As the years went on products like laminate, bamboo, cork, and water proof products became more popular. Therefore Old Dominion evolved to the needs of the current market. Throughout the years we have gained expert knowledge and an edge over the competition. Now in 2018 we have continued to evolve and grow the business in all areas of floor covering. We have some of the best employees in the business, and without them Old Dominion Floor would not be where it is today. Most of our employees have worked for us for over ten years. Old Dominion has and always will strive to stay on the leading edge of the flooring industry., If you haven't shopped flooring lately, then you'll be blown away with all the different options available that put fashion at your feet.

At Old Dominion Floor we offer more than discounted flooring. We give you an opportunity to achieve a look that will have friends and family bragging about your sense of fashion. You'll be wowed at the new designs and brilliant finishes that accompany both hardwood and laminate flooring. If it's carpet that you're looking for, you won't believe all the new pattern looks and colors.
